A sign lights my way as I walk to the metro station after day #1 of DIS classes. My day started with a meditation on the topic of sustainability. Professor Anne Merete led the activity in the course "European Sustainable Development."
Next, in "Terrorism & Counter-Terrorism in International Politics," Professor Jesper facilitated a heated debate. He posed the question, "What was more important: 9/11 or United States' reaction to it?" Finally, in "Creative Industries," guest speaker Rasmus W. Tscherning gave his opinions on topics from Madonna and Cirque du Soleil to French T.V. and penny whistle solos. Rasmus is the Managing Director for the Center for Culture & Experience Economy, Denmark. Equally important ... Rasmus is an immensely quotable individual.
